Whilst celebrating the history of showbusiness in many ways from talks and lectures to workshops and performance, including bringing the story of Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire born Philip Astley – ‘the man who invented the circus’ into Midlands schools with circus skills workshops, celebrating the Astley local links.
