Andrew and Allyson are regularly engaged to advise and teach magic, illusion, escapology, circus skills for theatrical resident shows and touring productions, as well as for television and film projects.
Recent shows using this option include ‘Houdini’ The Play, ‘Barnum’ The Musical, Royal Shakespeare Company production of ‘Julius Caesar’, plus The New Vic Theatre plays ‘Roll Up’ and ‘Astley’s Astounding Adventures’.
Geared to different age groups from Reception and Year One, through school, to college, university and further education.
Andrew and Allyson run circus skills workshops combined with a choice of entertaining historic talks about ‘Philip Astley’, the ‘History of Circus’ and ‘A Lifetime in Showbusiness’.

This format is regularly combined with focussed ‘Question and Answer’ sessions, proving particularly useful and of interest to Performing Arts students as a chance to ask and hear about Andrew and Allyson’s lifetime of experience, performing in all aspects of the entertainment industry from cruise ships to cabaret, West End theatre to television, film sets to corporate events, circus to raves and award ceremonies.
