Andrew and Allyson are regularly engaged to advise and teach magic, illusion, escapology, circus skills for theatrical resident shows and touring productions, as well as for television and film projects.
Recent shows using this option include ‘Houdini’ The Play, ‘Barnum’ The Musical, Royal Shakespeare Company production of ‘Julius Caesar’, plus The New Vic Theatre plays ‘Roll Up’ and ‘Astley’s Astounding Adventures’.

Philip Astley Project Circus Workshops within Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire area, reinforcing the local and international importance of Philip Astley – the military hero, original ringmaster and creator of the modern day circus through cross-curriculum performance, workshops and story.
Andrew and Allyson also run circus skills workshops combined with a choice of entertaining historic talks about ‘Philip Astley’, the ‘History of Circus’ and ‘A Lifetime in Showbusiness’.

Allyson Ford Van Buren presents a series of dance, stage craft, hoop, exercise and body conditioning training sessions for all ages and abilities that work stand-alone or combined as part of the circus skills classes.
